Preparing for Standardized Tests, Lite app for iPhone and iPad

Preparing for Standardized Tests is a comprehensive program designed to help high school students prepare for the SAT or ACT tests. Published by Green Light Learning Tools, a version of the test here was first developed for the Chicago International Charter School (CICS) to help prepare its students for the standardized tests leading to college. The test and lessons in this app derive from this original program.

The test included in this "lite" app is the easiest level of difficulty. The lessons in this "lite" version reflect the main skills students need to master in order to answer the science questions on the ACT. Each lesson briefly states the appropriate skill needed and gives an example, followed by some practice. In each lesson, students are shown the exactly what steps are needed to answer that type of question correctly. By mastering all of the lessons in the full app, students will be prepared for the full range of questions on the science portion of the ACT.
